As I was backing up some old family VHS tapes this week, I found this video I had made when I was 12 years old. I think this cinematic masterpiece speaks for itself.

What could possibly be better than a delicious, Thanksgiving turkey? How about a delicious, Thanksgiving turkey wrapped in bacon! Wrapping your Turkey in bacon not only adds wonderful flavor but also keeps the Turkey nice and juice on the inside.
Here’s how to do it:
Forty-five minutes before the Turkey is finished cooking, remove it from the oven. Lay the strips of bacon all along the surface making sure that the skin is covered thoroughly. Wrap the bacon around the wings and the legs (one or two layers is usually best, anymore and your bacon may not fully cook). Next, use toothpicks to pin the ends of the bacon down so they won’t curl up. Finally, place the bacon covered Turkey back in the oven to finish cooking. Enjoy.
