Justice Is a Dish Best Served In a 10 x 10 Cement Cell

While I was gone last week to Puerto Rico, the Ebay store that I was using to sell my broken MacBook laptop was raided by the Tucson Police Department (check out the story here). Apparently, the TPD had received numerous complaints from people who had not received any money from their sales through the store. Even I had been waiting over seven months to get my money. The owners of the store are now in prison and detectives are working on an ongoing investigation as to how much was actually stolen from clients. I called the TPD Fraud Unit hotline yesterday to report my case but I doubt I'll ever see my money or MacBook. At least justice was served...kinda.

I Am Still Alive!

Don't worry everyone, I have returned safely. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who was praying for me and the missionary team while we were down in Puerto Rico. God was there and moving in hearts.

A good friend of mine once told me that if Jesus were still on earth today He would be spending His time with the crack heads, prostitutes, and homeless. I had always known this statement to be true but it never held very much significance in my life until now. This past week I spent in Puerto Rico, I got to see the lowest of the lows, people who seemed like they had no hope and what God is able to accomplish with them.

Puerto Rico Mission Trip

For those of you who don’t know, I am leaving tomorrow on a mission trip to Puerto Rico with my church. I have never done a real mission trip like this so I am a little scared as well as excited. Something that has really given me some assurance these past few days was an email written to me by Karen, the children’s pastor at my church. She says:

“Just some thoughts… whoever you come in contact with…the ministry team…someone one the plane…someone on the street…wherever you go… whoever you meet is a divine appointment from God. We make plans but he directs our steps. Make every second count. Have no regrets!!!!!!!!”

Welcome to My Website!

Hello, and welcome to my website! It has been a long time in the making but I am finally finished...somewhat. I hope to keep you all updated with things that are happening in my life as well as share some of my creativity with the world. This is the first fully functional website I have put up so bear with me since I am a noob to this. Over the next few months I will keep improving it and I greatly value any input you have on how I can make this site better. Enjoy!
